Nicholas Fullerton

Chief Commercial Officer

Nicholas, as Chief Commercial Officer is responsible for private clients and partnerships for Global Reach Partners. He joined the company following the successful acquisition of FC Exchange, the business he co-founded in 2005. Before FC Exchange, Nicholas had worked for a number of years within the foreign exchange industry. Prior to this he worked in advertising for WPP Group and his major clients included Jaguar, Nike and BP. Nicholas recognised a gap in the market for an FX provider driven by technology, excellent customer service, with competitive exchange rates and therefore co-founded FC Exchange. Nicholas drives high standards and values to ensure strong and consistent levels of customer satisfaction. Nicholas was one of the founding members of the Executive Committee of AFEP (The Association of Foreign Exchange and Payment Companies). He holds a Politics degree from the University of Southampton, lives in Hertfordshire and outside of work enjoys boxing, the gym and spending time with his family. Nick is also a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon for Macmillan.

Mark Smith-Halvorsen

Chief Executive Officer

Mark is Chief Executive Officer of Global Reach Partners having been one of the company’s original founders in 2001. Mark has over 25 years’ experience in commercial foreign exchange businesses and financial services having worked for a number of large organisations including Liverpool Victoria where he was a successful Regional Sales Manager. In March 2016 Mark steered Global Reach Partners through a successful management buyout with Inflexion Private Equity Partners. This led to the acquisition of FC Exchange in August 2016 to build the company’s footprint supporting private and corporate clients. He leads the business as it continues to grow and increase market share. His specialties lie within hedging private and commercial foreign currency exposures, investments, managing financial risks and understanding the business needs of companies of all sizes. His vision is to continue with a buy and build strategy to grow GRP into a leading international foreign exchange and payment business. Mark actively participates in motorsports having been Team Principal at GB Moto Racing, a factory backed motorsports team. He competed in bike racing from the age of 16 and won the British Endurance bike championships three times. Mark has been actively involved in a number of charities having worked for Beanstalk’s ‘Get London Reading ’ scheme as a Reading Volunteer and cycled the London to Paris bike ride raising over £10k for Help the Heroes. He lives in Sussex with his family.

Daniel Biggs

Chief Revenue Officer

Daniel Biggs is the CRO for Global Reach Partners, overseeing the output of the corporate business. Daniel has been with GRP for over 12 years having held several senior roles within the corporate front office. Daniel has helped shape GRP’s service proposition and is proud of what the business has been able to achieve from its humble beginnings. Daniel thrives on high performance and his ambition and passion to succeed have been key in the company’s growth. He is heavily involved in the growth and development of the sales team, which has led to record profits for Global Reach Partners. Daniel is an avid motorsports fan and has participated in a number of endurance events and long distance bike rides, with other members of the GRP Executive Team, while raising money for charity. He likes to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle so he can keep up with his young and active family.

Martyn Hindley

Chief Financial Officer

Martyn is the CFO at GRP and responsible for finance, risk and integration. He is an experienced CFO with strong commercial record of delivering value, driving change and transformation through performance improvement and restructuring. He has had experience in international, multi-sector businesses, encompassing FTSE 250, growth & turnaround, private equity and has trained as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse. He recently left Equiniti (PE – Advent) which specialises in providing complex administration, processing and payment services, supported by leading technology, to FTSE 100 and 250 clients, their shareholders, employees, pensioners and customers, paying c£90bn of pensions, share dividends and salaries each year as well as performing administrative functions that involve regulation and high volumes of data. His previous role was CFO for Top Right Group (previously called Emap another PE backed business: APAX) who organise exhibitions, conferences, is a publisher of on-line products and business magazines. He also served as interim CEO for six months at TRG.
